Activities

The Activity Module is where you manage your organization's activities. People who participate in activities do so for a specified period of time and hold a particular position. When a person is through with an activity, you do not delete their participation, you simply give them an end date. In this way, you can maintain historical records.

Activities can be grouped together in a tree structure, in much the same way as you organize the files on your computer. One way to organize them would be by the reporting structure in your organization. Another way might be by similar function.

The tabs across the top of the screen are:

  • Activity Info - this tab contains information about the activity itself, e.g., description and meeting place.
  • Participation - this tab is where you maintain the activity's participants. You can easily copy, transfer and end the participation of several people at once.
  • Meetings & Attendance - this tab is where you enter attendance for the activity and records notes of your meetings with the integrated word processor.
  • Analysis - this tab allows you to view attendance graphs.
